This is THE first attempt at community communication on a web-wide scale. Here we can post those annual "anna's common kitchen" lists, and not cram the inbox full of general or specific inquiries (who is bringing spare basil inDEED?), post for general viewership the dates or date possibilities, poll for snackcake substitution...here we are free(er) to verify, doubt, wish, procrastinate, debate, annul, invite, fantasize, rehash, explain, deride, praise, ignore, fetishize, wax philosophically, condemn, celebrate, verify, exclaim, analyze, dream, allow, be...all things porter hill.i set it up in this space beacause its like, free, and seemed easier than typepad..though if anyone else has been working on this and has a better template or whatever, please give me a shout. this is the trial...TRIAL. Also, it was gmail connected, which could make it easier for folks to post or be connected, if they so desire. Or not. I really don't know for sure. But wtfever. We can see a) how our feverent desires to serve the goddess porter hill are met via this type of forum and b) how we work in a deliberate collective forum.
if you think it is as cool as a well timed shooting star, if you think it sucks fuckerfish, you think you couldn't care less but, hey, you know, if someone is going to the house anyway, could they bring back a nutty buddy or something...anything really...then, here's the place to voice (or finger...umm eww, i meant type) that.
as with all things I spawn, this is just the infant. it is up to the porter hill universe (which, if you are reading this, you belong) to grow this sucker up. It is up to the lot of y'all to shape and define how this enhances porter hill. or not.here we go.

okay this is me, DUH, testing out different ways of leaving comments. we can always be more restrictive...but until needed, i think it wise to leave it as easy and open as possible. who the hell cares about snack cakes and brazil hill besides us anyway?
