Winter Hill won't be Porter Hill, per se, but last week Paloma brought up the idea of having a silent auction going through the first day or two to replicate the fun and energy of our summer auction but without the three hour committment.
So whaddya think of that or what are the other fantasies for the weekend?

I like this idea a lot. Where would items be displayed? We'll want the fireplace to be unblocked, and we may also want the use of the pool table. But the pool table may still be the best choice. I suppose we could also use the table in the den, but I'd rather not clog that area with stuff.
There's always the under-used upstairs area with the table & couch-- that would be out of the main way of things & leave the pool table & the fireplace areas free from clutter. Just a thought. I'd prefer the pool table clear as well, although not necessarily for unlimited smackball.:-)
