Painted Pet Rocks, Lanyards, tie dye tshirts... Last year, kids and adults seemed to all have fun with the tie-dye tshirt craft time- so after talking it up a bit- here's a request/suggestion for all ph folks- if you're inspired- BRING an activity that kids and/or kids and adults can do! :) paper airplane makings, origami, pipecleaners and beads, whatever. Bring some crafty thing to share with a big group, a small group, whatever... u will get big gold stars! (and drumsticks)

Nice ideas. I'll think of some intergenerational craft. Maybe some air drying clay . . . or sculpey.
I could look up the recipe that we did with Avery and all for the homemade silly putty mixture way back in the day. This new generation of hiccup kids may get a kick out of it.
thanks gang. i actually do have (you guessed it) a bag of rocks :) gathered at odiorne pt- good for painting, etc.
People who liked Bag of Rocks also liked...
baggy of googley eyes
You know how you hang onto stuff forever and then, when you finally get rid of it, suddenly you find an urgent need for it??? Big boxes and bags of googleys, pipecleaners, gems, seuins, paints, you name it went at the yardsale. Sigh...
I got googley eyes and popsickle sticks today. Why those sticks? Don't ask me what we can do with them. I just trust that small boys might like fooling with them. Also: interesting mystery crafts! Yes! Intro to white-line printmaking, and some weird image transfer gel that is supposed to work on anything and transfer TO anything. Maybe it'll be an auction item instead of an activity. Kinda cool and weird.
