Wheel Chairs

Anna recently suggested that perhaps we Porterhillians invest in a collection of tents to help with housing logistics in the future.

Whatever the merits of her plan (I wouldn't presume to argue her case), might I suggest as an alternate or additional bliss-enhancement for our Brigadoon commune: a fleet of wheel chairs. In addition to chores and meal duties, we'd spend our pre-plan time figuring out who got to be carted around the grounds like a drunk sack of potatoes and which of the children would be doing the pushing.

Thoughts?

For an extra $10, we'll even call it a rick-shaw, so you feel like you're in an exotic locale...

I think I'll just use the car to drive from the house to the pond this year.

Maybe we need to have a few more kids quickly to make sure we have the workforce needed respond to us in our dotage.

I did have a good giggle on the thots of us all running around on those "Rascal" scooters...like trying to run each other off the pond path and whatnot. What happends when aging drunken farts take to assisted mobility devices? Hilarity Ensues!

Coincidentally, in my latest email exchange with Nick I am negotiating for the installation of an elevator and a people-mover that loops the house, pond and back-of-the-barn.
I figured we finally got the grill -now it is time to get serious.
