Feeling inspired to craft some food offerings for the masses?? Perfect opportunity to shout out about it-- who's cooking what this year (more importantly, perhaps, with whom & when?)
John, Stash & I would be happy to throw something on the grill for Saturday evening dinner (easy pleasey), if that works. If others have an idea they really want to captain, we're happy to fall back as worker bees as well. :-)
We were thinking about grilled marinated pork and haddock for our dinner-- wondering if folks who don't eat pork would enjoy the haddock, or should we pick a different protein? Mim-- do you & Jo have ideas of what you want?
I noticed that Sunday night dinner was Captain-less, so I grabbed Anna and Jo and jumped ship to captain Sunday night. No idea what we're cooking yet, but it'll be something yummy.
JJJ -- although I abandoned grill night (thinking a few other folks can be your helping hands), I love the idea of both haddock and grilled pork. Yummo!
Friday Potluck Sat: Grilling with JJJ and J Sunday: B Night Monday: Anna and Mim (maybe that's a good night for a bunch of salad compositions? Using up producing, can bring cous cous pre made, left over roasted corn from B Night and leftover protein from Sat and Sun?)
Anna & I talked and decided to add pulled pork and pulled chicken (for the non red meat eaters) to the menu for Monday night. We'll make a few salads and try to get creative with the leftovers in the fridge.

THemes for other meals?
Are the google docs around? I found the common kitchen items one, but not the chore one. Help?
I also feel like we had some other meal ideas...
was shovel food a true suggestion?
anyone interested in Church Lady Luncheon again, or has that run its course?

Okay--just looked back at the chore sheet:
Friday Potluck
Sat: Grilling with JJJ and J
Sunday: B Night
Monday: Anna and Mim (maybe that's a good night for a bunch of salad compositions? Using up producing, can bring cous cous pre made, left over roasted corn from B Night and leftover protein from Sat and Sun?)
That should work.
oops-- I missed Ea's comment-- if that works for everyone, it sounds good!

Easy pleasy!
Sounds awesome!!
We're adding hotdogs to grill night
Salad night sounds really good. Should we have a cooked breakfast/brunch in here somewhere? Maybe Monday morning?
Could do-- I'm bringing bacon & eggs & big ass pan, so if someone wants to take it on, we'll have some materials!
I will captain a breakfast/brunch--I think I'd propose having it on Monday when we don't have a big dinner meal planned.
Sounds delightful! If you want me to grab anything besides bacon & eggs, let me know!
