FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS SLED DRUNK.
oh...if i could count the times in my life i got all tipsy and silly and adventurous say, about midnight, got a whole slew of people to go sledding with me- oye.... we'd be here for weeks!
yes folks, i've broken bones, injured my back, and continued to crash gloriously in NH and Vermont fields for about 20 years going now. its a 'thing' for me, and i must be stopped.
a word of advice... dont succomb to my fantastic martini-induced ideas,
and please, for the love of god, if you see me sneaking around the corner with a drink and a sled, please stop me.
steer me towards a good novel, make me a hot cocoa, or chain me to the living room table.
this is an anna-approved public service annoucement from the NH/VT Friends Dont Let Friends Sled Drunk Committee.
and yes, I approved this message.

Is sledding buzzed OK? I realize it's a fine line.
i suspect it's more of a late night, four martinis later, sledding thing. surely avery or stasha will have the presence of mind to say--maybe sledding at midnight isn't such a good idea.
I had fully intended on scoping out the buzz-proof sled run AHEAD of time-- fear not! No broken tailbones or dislocated shoulders we!;-)
