rooms and couches and tents, oh my!

room talk please?

there's no easy way around this convo, but lets get it started anyhow.
our odd porter hill breeding rule (so far) we've got 6 units with 1 boy each! (boy avery, boy stash, boy quinn, boy otis, boy max, boy alden) what a joy, and where to stash these children at night?
how silly would it be to put them all in a tent out back? getting closer every year...

alas- and sometimes i'm dense and forget people- sorry- but we have
ea, avery
mark hayley otis
rob paloma quinn
mim (and steve) ask her if you dont know of whom i refer
jen, john, stash
anna, chris, max
peter, william
jaylin, alden

and we have downstairs:
two twins,  (last yr, mim or alden/jay)
big queen  (last yr: anna, chris, max)

upstairs
architect suite (last yr: mark, h, otis)
double room (with twin or crib?) not sure whats in there. (william/peter)
two double room (rob/ palo/quinn)
corner double (jen/john)- stash/camping/couch?
little mini room (jay/ mim) maybe even stash once? cant recall

tenting martyrs
ea, avery

how many people want a change? how many would stay happily in the spot they were in last yr?
chime in and lets do the room dance. xo anna

max chris and i need a space where we can fit a blow up mattress on the floor. downstairs queen has worked great for us, as max tends to wander at night- and pops out of his bed a lot, and i still hate those nasty steps. but he's 5 now, and more able footed, so if anyone wants that downstairs big queen, we'd go upstairs too.

Thanks so much for getting this going, Anna and with such panache!

For the Sylvan family we are hoping to be in the same room we've been in for the past few years- the double under the eaves. For Quinn having routine and what is known is a particularly big part of what makes it work...

Jaylin is brining a teepee and I was prob going to crash with her/alden. Avery will bring our backpacking tent at least. might not even have to bring the BAT this year!

While the Architect's suite works well for us, I think we'd be fine with taking either of the rooms upstairs on the barn-side of the house...

Up:
Architect suite: MHON
2 Doubles: PRQ
2 singles: P&W&M
Corner double: J&J
Small Double: Mim

Down:
Queen: ACM
2 Singles: Stash & Avery (if h gets sick of tenting)

Teepee: Jay, Alden, Ea
Tent: Avery

IF Ea decides she needs indoor space when teepee is absent, then possibly Mim & Ea share downstairs double single & Stash get up, OR Stash gets couch upstairs & Mim & Ea get their own rooms-- either way, we're all set, seems...

I'm cool with pretty much any indoor bed. Thanks for getting this rolling, Anna.

Thanks so much for getting this going and resolved. We are blessed and privileged. Paloma, Rob and Quinn: Do please let us know if you'd like to swap rooms and take the Architect's room this year.
